Protecting your business from workplace discrimination claims

Protected characteristics that are forms of workplace discrimination include sex, race, marital status, pregnancy, maternity, disability, religion or belief, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, and age. These characteristics are protected in workplace discrimination legislation.
